This commentary conceives of books ?-E of Aristotle's Metaphysics as an introduction to the problematics of the highest science he is founding, which grounds a being in its being. This rigorous text analysis, which also addresses philosophically significant questions of translation and textual criticism, also shows how relevant many of Aristotle's statements can be for a contemporary philosopher with a systematic interest.
