Sumi Eno started her career as a professional manga artist in 2014 with her series Bishonen-ness. Just a year later, she released her next series, Tabishi Kawaran!! (Insignificant Kawaraya!!), which she had been working on privately since 2011 before turning it into a commercial manga in 2015. Eno then went on to create Ajuutan (Tale of the Demi-Beast), which was among the top twenty series nominated for the Next Manga Award’s Best Web Manga of 2017.
