Über den Autor Kaplan, Susan

Susan Kaplan is director of the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum and Arctic Studies Center and a professor of anthropology at Bowdoin College. Trained as an anthropologist and archaeologist, she oversees the operations of the Arctic Museum, teaches, organizes symposia, and does archaeological research in Labrador, Canada. Her publications include exhibit catalogues focused on Alaskan Inuit, scholarly works about the history of Arctic exploration, and articles about Inuit responses to environmental change and contact with Westerners.
