This book has three volumes. The first is mainly devoted to the macroscopic-microscopic theory in its traditional form. Applications of this theory to the emission of different kinds of charged particles from nuclei are presented in this second volume, where recent experimental achievements in alpha decay and radioactivities are also discussed.
