Über den Autor Simpson, Mary

The author has had a successful career in Law and has always been an avid reader and dedicated theatre-goer. Inspired by the Romantic poets and novelists, especially the Brontës, she has had several collections of poetry published. Awarded a Merit for her MA in Creative Writing, this is her debut novel. It spans seven decades in the life of its heroine commencing with her birth during the Battle of Britain and is the first volume of a quartet.
