A recipient of a Christopher Award and a Sydney Taylor Award, Louise Borden is the author of highly acclaimed, strong-selling children's books that stay in print for a long time. The subjects she writes about are informed by her experiences as a teacher and as a bookseller. Her books include The Journey That Saved Curious George: the True Wartime Escape of Margret and H.A. Rey, America IS..., Off to First Grade, and more.Paige Keiser is an award-winning children's book artist who has illustrated Little Chef, Mia Moves Out, and more. She currently lives and works in Virginia, and happily grew up during the age of Saturday morning cartoons.
