Über den Autor Ranga, Marina
Marina Ranga is an international scholar in innovation studies, currently working with the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Management as an Associate Professor of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship and with the University of Seville, as the Manager of its Innovation Hub created within the European University Alliance Ulysseus. Her career spans full-time and visiting positions in leading universities in Europe and the US (Stanford University) and in the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in Seville, Spain. She has contributed to innovation policy analysis and implementation for over 20 years through a wide range of advisory, consulting, review and evaluation projects for the European Commission and UN bodies, national and regional government agencies and professional bodies. With extensive knowledge of EU research and innovation policies and financial instruments, she was an Advisor (Fellow) in the 2023-2024 Fellowship Programme for Economic Expert Advice to the European Commission's Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and the Chair of the Advisory Group on Horizon 2020 "Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation". She is the Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board of Imperial College London's Institute for Molecular Science and Engineering in the UK and an Advisory Board member of the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities. She holds a PhD and a MSc in Science and Technology Policy (SPRU, Sussex University, UK).
