Eileen Boris (middle) holds the Hull Chair and is incoming chair of the women's studies program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Vicki L. Ruiz (bottom) is a professor of history and Chicano/Latino studies and chair of the department of history at the University of California, Irvine.
