Über den Autor Copeland, Sam
Sam Copeland is an author, which has come as something of a surprise to him. He is from Manchester and now lives in London with two smelly cats, three smelly children and one relatively clean-smelling wife. He is the author of the bestselling Charlie Changes Into a Chicken series (the first book of which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize), Uma and the Answer to Absolutely Everything and Greta and the Ghost Hunters. With Jenny Pearson, he has also written Tuchus & Topps Investigate: The Underpants of Chaos and Tuchus & Topps Investigate: The Attack of the Robot Librarians.Despite legal threats, he refuses to stop writing.Dotty Sutton is an Edinburgh-based illustrator and model maker. The dictionary definition of 'dotty' is 'eccentric or slightly mad', which is a description she is rather flattered by.Dotty has illustrated books including Waterstones Children's Book of the Month Alex vs Axel by Sam Copeland and The Notwitches by Gary Panton. When not drawing, she's building tiny worlds and puppets out of paper and clay, or inspiring the next generation of adventurers as a Cub Scout leader. She's currently working on her first author-illustrated book, and is excited to finally let the characters living in her brain escape out onto the page and into the world!
